All I can see is that one is 300w and the other 100w...does that mean 1is more expensive to run?..

Not sure really. I have a digital one that Emily put me on to about 3 and half years ago. Have never changed it, still works for Ody. But the electric bill is always pretty high.

The mat stats are for running heat mats only and the temperature stats are for running ceramic heat emitters - if you are only using heat mats - use the mat stats Tayer as they are cheaper to buy - let me know and I will get you costs x

Thanks Helen, do they do them in double? Do you know...!

No wonder my electric bill is nearly £100 extra a month on top of my house...and specially with a 3000w blower going 24hr. (I didn't realise how hight the wattage was).
Plus 2 double 2x300w stats and 4xmats.
That's a lot of wattage going into the hog house.

Do I'm thinking about alternatives...iv just put that radiator thingy you got me Helen, put it on 750w on half, it's still z nice temp...put it I front of the door by the drafty bit.

It doesn't run at 300 watts Tayer - it just means it can handle upto 300 watts - it will only run at the wattage of the bulbs or mats.

The heater I have on the lower setting but mine is just a back up when the heating goes off - will check the double's for you chuck.

Don't blame you - I spend a fortune on calor gas for the gas fire in their play area - pampered piggies that they are!

I thought of that too, but it's not safe to go on through the night.

Iv got that radiator on low, and it's warm in there.

That is the one downfall with them but at least they are warm when playing out and it heats the conservatory up as well x
