PostSubject: The giant Leopard Moth or Eyed Tiger Moth .   Thu Feb 21, 2013 11:05 am

The Giant Leopard Moth or Eyed Tiger Moth is a moth of the family Arctiidae.

This species has a wingspan of 3 inches (nearly 8 cm). The wings of this moth are bright white with a pattern of neat black blotches, some solid and some hollow. The abdomen is dark blue with orange markings, the male has a narrow yellow line on the sides. Its legs have black and white bands

skanky? that means slutty?
i thought it makes them fly like fairy dust...and if you handle them too much, that they cant fly...and if they get wet.

I adore moths and he is beautiful I have held an Atlas moth; she just sat on my hand for about 45 minutes quite happy. It is one of the precious moments of my life I woush I could relive over and over again. I would love to hold this gorgeous little chap.
